Day 11 of the 28-Day Creativity Challenge

I am not a big Valentine's Day person, in fact I have been know to refer to him as the antichrist. I consider it to be a Hallmark holiday. I also believe that we should tell the people we love how we feel all year round. With that said, I will admit Valentine's Day did inspire this this piece. I found the heart-shaped panel at Michael's, so I grabbed it not knowing what I might do with it. When I got home I put the panel on my drawing board along with all the other goodies that I bought. A little later, I pulled out some sheets of paper I had. The paper with the music popped out an me, and as I was looking at it the words "Love is the song the heart sings.", sprang into my mind. It came together that easily. It's a simple piece, but I like it. Life can get too complicated, so it's nice to keep things simple sometimes, and after the complexity of yesterday's art, I needed a break!
